Synopsis
An early example of sound animation. In it, animals square off against each other and then join forces against a Butcher (Farmer Alfalfa).
Reception:
Walt Disney was inspired to create better sound in animation as a result of his contempt for the sound in this film. Steamboat Willie resulted (which begs the question, if Disney saw this first, even though the copyright date was after Steamboat Willie’s release, when was Dinner time’s initial release?)
