Synopsis
Based on Edgar Allan Poe’s short story of the same name. The caretaker of an old man suffers paranoid delusions surrounding his employer’s blind eye. In a fit of rage, he murders the old man and hides his body under the floorboards. Facing police investigation for a noise complaint, the caretaker imagines he hears the old man’s heart beating, and confesses to the crime out of guilt.
